Dr. Elilan Somaskantharajah
Elilan is an experienced teacher on preparing students for major exams. He is in the industry for 15 years and has a detailed knowledge of all major exam boards with well proven track record of students.
Scheduled Seminars
The Chemistry session will be mostly emphasised on revising harder calculations from both year 12 and year 13 as well as organic analysis. The topics include Entropy and Enthalpy Changes, Redox Titration, Equilibrium Constants, Acid - Base Equilibria, NMR, Structure and Bonding and Organic Synthetic Route. Multiple choice and open response style questions will be practiced during the session.
The revision of all three sciences and past papers will be exercised for the new 9-1 curriculum. Some example topics are Calculation in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Electrolysis, Forces and Motion, Energy and Energy Transfer, Radioactivity and Half-Life, Cloning, Homeostasis, Biodiversity and Genetic Inheritance.

Throughout the session AS and A/level topics will be revised together with most complicated exam questions. Please note these are not past paper questions instead set up by experienced teacher for the new curriculum. Some of the example topics are DNA Technology, Statistical Calculations in Biology, Photosynthesis, Respiration, Cellular Control, Mass Transport, Immunity and Ecology.
